In no more than 500 words, the cover letter should summarize your accomplishments to date, describe your suitability for the Fellowship, and convey your long-term professional goals.
3. Writing sample
The academic writing sample should be no longer than 10,000 words, including notes. It may be a publication, dissertation chapter, conference paper or other significant academic work that reflects your preparation and goals for the Fellowship.
4. Research statement
In no more than 500 words, the research statement should describe the project you wish to pursue as part of the Fellowship: a peer-reviewed academic article, book chapter, or book manuscript in a recognized scholarly venue. Dissertation completion is ineligible for the support of the Academic Fellowship.
Please use the following naming convention for each file: "InitialSurname.Type" (for example: "JCastillo.WritingSample"). All documents should be uploaded as PDF files.
Submissions that do not conform to the above guidelines in content and format may not be reviewed.
